Teaching

I am currently teaching MAT 185 (Complex Analysis) as of Fall 2026. I am generally happy to share course materials, but currently hesitant to post them online.

Spring 2026: MAT 185 and MAT 185H (Honors and Regular Complex Analysis)

Fall 2025: MAT 121A (Mathematical Methods for Physics) and MAT 199 (Supervised independent study)

Spring 2025: MAT 185H (Honors Complex Analysis)

Fall 2024: MAT 185 (Complex Analysis) and MAT 121A (Mathematical Methods for Physics)

Previous Teaching Experience

I taught MAT 21D, vector calculus, online at UC Davis during summer session II 2021. Below are my lecture notes, midterms with solutions, and final with solutions. We roughly followed along with Thomas’ Calculus, 14th edition and the UC Davis department syllabus.

To navigate the material here, I recommend looking at my Schedule. Chapter 15 is double and triple integrals, chapter 13 is about parameterized curves in 3D space, and chapter 16 is about line and surface integration, especially of vector fields.

Discussion Notes

Midterm 1: part 1, part 2, solutions

Midterm 2: part 1, part 2, solutions

Final: part 1, part 2, solutions

I have also TAed for just under 5 years at UC Davis. Every calculus course in the MAT 21 series several times over, real analysis 127B and C, linear algebra 67, and differential equations 22B.

Finally, I volunteer tutored math at Mt. Tamalpais College, a fully accredited college in San Quentin State Prison. It’s a wonderful program, and they’re always looking for more volunteers, so feel free to ask me about it if you’re curious.
